Field has over 30 years of sailing experience. He learned to sail on the waters of Buzzards Bay, MA, and Penobscot Bay, ME as a member of the Cuttyhunk Yacht Club and Devil Island Yacht Club. While Field sailed Lasers and Turnabouts in his youth, his love for big boat sailing was spurred on ten years ago when he crewed on a 74′ Little Harbor ‘Palawan’ in the New York Yacht Club annual race. For the past 4 years, Field has resided in the Bay area and has sailed with Team Kuai.
