Team Kuai was featured in a 2 page ad in January’s issue of Sailing World magazine. The picture profiles Kuai, an Audi Melges 20, racing on San Francisco Bay and promotes the upcoming 2013 Sperry NOOD regatta schedule.

In a heartfelt tribute, Blake Davis, 2011 CYC Sailor of the Year, announced that the panel had selected Daniel Thielman as CYC’s 2012 Sailor of the Year.  Blake noted Daniel’s incessant participation in racing on both coasts, representing the club with distinction, as well as his many contributions to race management and organization at CYC.

Daniel, on hand to receive the accolades of the members, expressed his thanks and affection for the club.
